Mark Harrison

Mark Harrison is the CEO of MH Litigation Valuation and Forensic Services, Inc. Mr. Harrison’s very distinguished career includes expertise in the most complex valuation engagements. He has performed valuations of business interests for a variety of purposes including, but not limited to, family law matters, business damages, buy-sell agreements, shareholder litigation, estate and gift tax matters, buying and selling businesses, malpractice litigation, and breach of contract. Additional litigation services include reasonable compensation analysis for tax and non-tax assignments. 

 

Mr. Harrison previously retired from his position as the Advisory & Consulting Services National Leader at Marcum LLP.  Prior to his retirement, Mr. Harrison was a Connecticut Licensed Attorney, Certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensics. He had more than 30 years of experience providing business valuation, litigation support, and forensic accounting services across the country and had been a Nationally respected financial expert witness. Prior to Marcum acquiring his firm in 2016, Mark spent most of his career as the CEO of Meyers Harrison & Pia, LLC.

Mr. Harrison has frequently been appointed as a neutral expert by courts and as a mutually agreed upon expert by parties to litigation. He has regularly been called upon to assist in settling complex financial disputes. He has been an instructor in business valuation and forensic accounting techniques on a national and local level for numerous professional and academic organizations. He has assisted in the creation and writing of various seminars and has been a consultant to 60 Minutes on business valuation and forensic accounting issues.
